Just like the current Lync 2010 Mobile client does? Or now the new client can only work using VOIP from the Mobile to the Lync Server?

Eduardo Rojashttp://www.biznetcorp.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319482230418374994.post-46768337704261223002013-02-28T16:27:56.567+01:002013-02-28T16:27:56.567+01:00Hi Eduardo,

It will only support the same features as the Lync 2010 Client support. This also means, no Video and not Sharing.
Since we as MVPs also don't have early access to the Client, I could not test the client until it is released, I only refer back to the product group announcements.Thomas Poetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568662308788859113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319482230418374994.post-85978824867335311932013-02-28T16:13:34.911+01:002013-02-28T16:13:34.911+01:00Will the Lync 2013 Mobile Client still support Cal...Will the Lync 2013 Mobile Client still support Call Via Work feature using the PSTN?
Will this client work on Lync 2010?
Eduardo Rojashttp://www.biznetcorp.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319482230418374994.post-28379152724997103972013-02-28T13:04:13.866+01:002013-02-28T13:04:13.866+01:00In Exchange it works still a little different from...In Exchange it works still a little different from Lync, while you are using IIS based services for Client Certificate Authentication or you configure TMG handling this.
In Lync 2010/ 2013 you have to establish the third Authentication Protocol, called TLS-DSK.
You can enable this on the Registrar Global Setting, called ENABLE CERTIFICATE AUTHENTICATION.

I recommend you reading some our NetxHop Community Blogs:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/nexthop/archive/2012/11/28/lync-2010-client-authentication.aspx
http://blogs.technet.com/b/nexthop/archive/2012/08/20/certificate-authentication-in-lync-server-2010-and-enterprise-pki.aspx

this is based on Lync 2010, but can be used for Lync 2013 too.
I hope this could help.
else you can contact me personally Thomas.Poett@live.deThomas Poetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568662308788859113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319482230418374994.post-441148964337639302013-02-28T10:05:01.024+01:002013-02-28T10:05:01.024+01:00Will the new client finally support certificate au...Will the new client finally support certificate authentication?
